This was wonderful. It just had everything that it needed, it really did. And I do think that you kept them both in character as far as I can tell. I love how you kept that little hint of mystery by not going into explicit detail of the past, like with Ariana's murder and the like. It gave it the feel as if it were really the afterlife and made it seem so realistic. I loved it and I'd love to read more of Albus and Grindelwald written by you ;)

In all seriousness, I adore this, and how in-character they both are, and I do love that you left the ending ambiguous, and don't tell us what Albus's decision was/will be. It's perfect the way it is, so don't change anything. Just ignore my fragile heart, who just wants the tragic couples she loves so much to be together and happy, for once. *sigh* I love stories like this, though, Gellert and Albus meeting up in the afterlife to talk things out. Awesome story, and I'm favoriting for sure! :)

I really like this! I liked what you chose to discuss, and the way you portrayed the relationship, i.e. that Gellert did love Albus but wasn't head over heels, and the what-if element, etc. I tend to go for the 'how could you choose [Muggles/anti-Muggle-ness] over me?' out of both of them, and I've only ever seen that or total unrequited love from Albus, so this was a refreshing and interesting approach. They were definitely both in character. I'm glad you reposted this :)

The charakters seem in tune. And I so like the bittersweet feeling of that fic. Nice one!
