This was an especially memorable story. I loved the setting, the creepy ghost story, and the terrifying cave filling with water. (Shudder) Thamks for the author's note, too, because I was incredibally curious about what sources you drew upon to weave this tale. The brotherly angst was perfect, too, of course, as you're a genius when it comes to that!

Awesome concluding chapter. In addition to injured Dean you gave us some serious injured and almost drowning Sam too! Typical that Dean getting up from the bed would result in Sam's note falling out of his sight but good job he did make it down the stairs as, if he hadn't Sam would have surely perished because of Maggie! Loved how Dean figured out what was holding Maggie there, due to remembering Sam's words and that he found the secret entrance and the passage to the cave, rescuing Sam in the nick of time! Great ending, back in the motel room with Sam recovering and Dean going on a food run and loved the concerned banter!
Awesome that the story had it base in fact, from two different lighthouses.

Great opening chapter. Perilous journey to the lighthouse and then they have to face Maggie! Winchester luck strikes that Sam bares a strong resemblance to her dead husband and if that is not enough, she thinks Dean is standing in their way of being together! Just hope Sam is right about what is keeping her here and am intrigued as to what he wrote on the piece of paper he placed on Dean's chest.
