Actually it was explaine that there are different subspecies (Just like with any reptile)

some who kept the third eyes had great abilities ( top eye saw in infrared. (DW: Doctor Who and the Silurians) The third eye also allowed them to use a variety of telepathic powers.

one of which being The third eye was capable of harming organic beings, killing them or leaving them unconscious. Alternatively, they could revive a human that they had rendered unconscious with the third eye. Energies emanating from it allowed them to burn through walls and create tunnels. (Though not all silurian have this or the third eye.)

Ever since A Good Man Goes To War I've wanted more stories about Vastra and Jenny. Thank you. I will be following your series.

I have been looking for Vastra/Jenny stories, but there seem to be so few writers willing to try. I think it has something to do with the setting.

I particularly like how you set it in the past. We know where V/J end up, but it's nice to see how they started, how they got on the path to really finding each other.

Very good story! I love your characterization of Vastra, but your out-look on Jenny seems a little iffy... But nothing huge; I loved it anyway! Thanks so much for writing a worth-while Vastra/Jenny story!

I LOVE THIS STORY! It's quite good. I do hope to write a Vastra series, but if you do write it at this level, I guess I'd just have to sacrifice myself to read your story instead. ;)
