Wow.. Izaya just cheated Death. That was amazing. And wow, Shizuo was Death! That was kinda surprising but it would've been a really interesting plot if it were true.

...Wow. Actually, based on the Dickinson quote and Shizuo's abilities, I thought Shizuo in the carriage might actually be Immortality at first. I actually stopped to work it out before reading further and thought of the Celty-becoming-his-friend thing as well on my own. Then I saw you using that same idea for him being Death instead, haha.

This is amazing though, the way you manage to write it like this and everyone is actually so in character throughout and the more I think about the more it actually does work, really. And Izaya's absolute fear is so characteristic of him and just - this whole thing is superbly crafted. I enjoyed it immensely.

I really liked this and I would like to read more. Please do a sequel that is Shizuo/Izaya.

Wow, just... wow. I love how you wrote this. I've always wondered how Izaya would handle death since he always talks about it so lightly. I liked your concept of Death though. It was so creepy yet made so much sense all at the same time. I could see an opening for this to be a longer, on-going piece especially with Izaya's bargain with Death to help people. I would like to see that develop, if that were the case. However, this stands well enough on it's own and I love how you set it up. It was very enjoyable and well-thought out.
