Honestly this a constant issue with Stephanie she just keeps on getting kicked in the bits whenever something big happens seriously she suffers from spidey syndrome great character who is forced to suffer without any great returns

Now, if only DC would bring back Stephanie as Spoiler, I'd be happy. Also, if they brought back the real Teen Titans, and Tim Drake (or whatever his name is now) stopped dressing like the white Falcon.

This is really good! :) It bothers me a lot that they made Babs Batgirl again, too. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love Barbara, but the fact that she stayed a part of things and was just as capable of doing things as Oracle was so cool, and making her Batgirl again really destroys that. I think you did a really good job at capturing Steph's (understandable) anger while also getting to her refusal to give up. :) My hope is that DC will do something like this and bring Steph back as Spoiler (hopefully even have some adorableness between her and Tim ;P). You did a great job with this! :D
I would love to see a follow-up/sequel to this with Tim's and everybody's reaction to Spoiler being back in action. :)

I'm totally with ya. DC is screwing Steph over for no reason at all. I didn't read Batgirl, but I adored Stephanie's character. She's so fun! They should have a Spoiler ongoing, since they're apparently cancelling Red Robin and moving Tim to Teen Titans full-time. GRRRRRR!

You know, I understand you. Steph has been a fun Batgirl, kind of like Barbara when she started during the late silver age, but at the same time Steph has a with and every-day charm and happy-go-lucky attitude Barbara doesn't have (and never really did) because she's a super-genius and a little anal retentive.

Honestly? I'll be sad to see Steph go as Batgirl, but the nice thing is that Gail Simone has stated she wouldn't mind using her in the new Batgirl book.

Heh, and nice stab at Kara's new costume, which I actually love as it seems more ellegant in an alien kind of way and a little less slutty than what she currently wears, my only concern is that going by the costume I fear DC will merge her with PG...

Anyway not all is bad with the reboot, as it seems DC will finally get rid off Damian Wayne.

All in all, a nice little one shot that is well made.

SWEET! I hope Steph goes back to being Spoiler. It's the best of the options left that I can see (it's that, or retcon the retcon of her death, or make her not exist. I hope they're smart and pick the Spoiler option.)

This has inspired a Fanfic for me that I'm tentativly calling "Team Screw Destiny" about the people I think are going to get screwed over by the reboot, aka Kara, Steph, Miss Matian, Impulse-Iris (a lot of girls...thanks for enforcing Women in Refrigerators, DC...), Damian, Colin, and Static (becuase yesh, the reboot's helping him, but I need another guy!). And this really helped me firugre out where to go with it! So thank you!
