Oh. my gosh I loved this! It was great on paper (the screen?) and it must have been amazing in your imagination as well! I loved the way you described the office and the emotion of the portraits! Snape. Snape was AMAZING! As was Dumbledore, they were both so sweet! I loved your take on the Houses- it was amazing, and I loved how you glorified Slytherin as brave and noble, just like Gryffindor. Well done!

Aww, this was sweet and lovely. I love the line at the end from Dumbledore. Bit corny, but words of wisdom, especially those pertaining to love, always are a bit like that.

Snape seemed a bit TOO nice. I imagine he'd still look at Harry, and even Albus (because he looks so much like Harry and therefore James Potter the First) with a bit of scorn. I think he wouldn't have been more stern and a little less openly sentimental.

I can imagine him getting a little teary at the end, but trying his damnedest not to show it or to deny it if someone did notice. Like, I could see him start tearing up a bit after the Potters left, then Dumbledore saying something like, "I'm sure you noticed the eyes," or something like that and then asking if he's crying and Snape totally denying it.

He wasn't totally out of character, though. You did a decent job with Snape, and he's really hard to write for especially in these more sentimental scenes. It's hard to tell how Snape would react in this sort of situation.

There's a few of these types of stories out there that deal with Albus Severus meeting his namesakes, and I think this is one of the good ones.

I like how you portrayed Harry and Albus, and Dumbledore especially. Like I said, I liked the quote at the very end by Dumbledore (and the last bit of what Al says before that that Dumbledore elaborates upon.)
