I always love seeing how Bella and Edward cross paths for the first time... this was really sweet

okay, so i almost never review, and I haven't even finished the first chapter yet. today is match 3rd 2020, and my Gramma who raised me died four years ago today. she had lung cancer, but it had spread to her brain before we caught it. she died in my bed, with me holding one hand and my grandpa holding the other, and reading this right now just brings me back. I have no idea what twist of fate brought me to this fic today of all days, but I am incredibly grateful. it just served as a little reminder that life goes on, and it's okay to hurt sometimes. thank you for writing this. I can't wait to see how the rest of the story goes.

It's too bad Bella couldn't forgive Charlie as he was truly remorseful, but she seemed to be at peace with her decision. What a great Edward! I loved his kindness and loyalty.

The friendship tag made it obvious there weren't going to be any sexy times, so they weren't expected. The deep affection they shared for one another throughout was enough.

In the last few days I reread both this story and Through the Flames. I knew I had enjoyed them on the first go-round, but had forgotten how much I truly loved them both. I absolutely loved spending my couple of days off rereading these gems. Just like with every fandom author I enjoyed and miss, I wish you’d write more new stuff!

It's sad that Bella could never regain a relationship with her father but not surprising. Sometimes it takes awhile for prayers to be answered. I'm glad Bella and Edward were able to find happiness and that they were blessed to have Faith.
