Ok, I'm in stitches over this because I'm both McCoy and Kirk-by which I mean, I lay on people all the time, my feet are always cold, and I don't mind being picked up...being small, I kinda just get used to it.

it is the little things, little habits and quirks of one and accomodation of the same from another that show how much somebody is loved / loves rather than sappy romantic songs and roses. You are aware of that and you hit the nail right on head.

Wonderful, beautiful story. Had this image of Bones slumped over Spock, of Jim tangling his feet for warmth and Spock carrying both of them. In all honesty, if I could click favorite more than once I really, really would :D.
