Ok, but why do you always refer to soul as "the reaper" or maka as "the blonde" "the woman" like, THEY HAVE NAMES DUMBASS SO USE THEM! It gets especially confusing especially if there are MORE THAN 2 FUCKING REAPERS IN THE SCENE. Like who the hell are u referring to, Soul or the other?

I read and re-read the line about Liz saying she knew Kidd wouldn't strike a woman no matter how pissed off he got. This is a part of SE that bothered me, yes I find the Maka/Lord Death chop funny - but something about woman striking men because they know they won't get hit back is not right. This might be a tangent now but that's why in the manga when B* punches Maka I thought good. Look, women hitting men because they know they won't get hit is not acceptable. Men hitting women ever is not acceptable so why do we bend the rules? Boundaries, men stop women from hitting you catch their hands and tell them calmly you will not let them hit you. Women, don't hit men and don't shame them if they stop you. I'm enjoying the story, that line sparked something sorry for the long review.

Oooh the bits about him eating souls is so interesting to me, I thought if you ate blue orbs you'd become prekishin? There was one thing I found distracting, in several instances Soul is referred to as the pale eyed man- red isn't a color that strikes me as pale. Im enjoying the friendship building between Tsubaki and Maka. And Soul's age reveal was fascinating.

damn i was going to go to sleep... that didn't happen. So, that was one of the coolest introductions to his name I have ever read. Period. Im guessing you're going to go into details about salivating Soul vs in control Soul. That part made me feel so tense. And you revealed she had the Grigori soul very early on.. Im curious, in the manga and show, he only eats the souls of pre-kishin but in reading this, it sounds like he eats all the souls.
