great story!

Una historia muy hermosa. Me impresionó la forma en que uniste a estos dos personajes que poco se cruzan en el canon, pero que tienen mucho potencial si son bien desarrollados, y me pareció una situación muy creíble. Si elegirían a alguien para sanar a Itachi, ésa sería Sakura sin duda alguna, porque en el canon pasa mucho tiempo odiándolo por todo lo que le hace pasar a Sasuke y Naruto, y encima es una médica talentosa. El hecho de que Itachi sea torturado duele, pero también es creíble en el mundo en el que están.

Me gustó el conflicto que se crea, eso de qué es realmente lo correcto, de qué vale siquiera sanarlo si lo volverán a herir. Me dio bastante nostalgia, eso sí; fue como sentir lo que sentía Itachi al extrañar a su familia y todo lo que le habían quitado. Creo que los dos se enamorarían de forma muy parecida a la que muestras aquí, sobre todo con rapidez en una situación así de fuerte. Obvio que Sakura se volvería una luz en la vida de Itachi y Sakura no podría simplemente seguir con su vida como si nada luego de ese encuentro.

Me gustó mucho y me causó demasiada ternura su beso, siento que Itachi se enamoró primero y que tenía tantas ganas de hacer eso. En el momento en que pide otro médico ya fue como aquí pasa algo jeje pero amé que Sakura luchara no sólo por Itachi, también por sus ideales. Me encantó el final medio abierto, con la promesa de su reencuentro al fin. Muy buen fic que despertó mi cariño por el ItaSaku nuevamente (L).

4 years after i first read this story, i still come back to it, and it still moves me. For the hundredth time, awesomejob on this one!

I enjoyed a lot. It was well written. Giving away all you have for the sake of village you live! The imagination alone is so intense! It hurts a lot, at the same time it gives you the pleasure of serving your village. I really LOVE konoha's Itachi. Generally, I don't like it when people try to portray Itachi as an evil man. Because all he had done was just to protect KONOHA !
It must have pained him greatly to slaughter his own blood men. But he endured the pain for the sake of his village. It makes me feel sorrowful that Itachi had to spend his life so selflessly!
I REALLY liked the story at end. Now Itachi had someone to care about and someone who worries and cares about him in return. I just hope that you are planning a sequel for The Ninth Night

After reading this and your first two ItaSaku series, I have to say that this oneshot is the the cherry on top the cake that is Genshi. I LOVED it! These type of stories never fail to hit me with the nostalgia of how much I loved this pairing. Great work and will be hoping for more!
