Very nice chapter here. I always thought it odd that when people write Harry Potter and Naruto crossovers, where Kakashi is participating in the Tri-Wizard tournament, they get to this task and Kakashi's all, whatever. No! If this happened where say Rin or Obito or even Minato were held hostage, Kakashi would totally flip out. Coming from a culture where your friends could very easily be kidnapped and tortured by the enemy, he wouldn't just let this slide. With Rin it would be even worse, what with flashbacks of Rin getting kidnapped before and PTSD from that. So thank you for portraying a very realistic Kakashi freak out.
On the topic of CPR, people are always changing what's the right or wrong way to do it. I think the current way is simply chest compressions and no breathing. However, as my lifeguard instructor once said, CPR is a last-resort sort of effort. Hardly anything you do could make it worse, so doing something (even if it's not "the correct way") is better than not.
