I like the story so far, I especially I liked that you included a buddy system and that most of the other trainers doesn’t receive the typical starter Pokémon.

This is a nice preview for the start of this story.

Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura should easily have the advantage. The Kanto starters were forced to evolve to their last stage. They in no way should be able to fight so well. The sudden change in size and weight should hinder them, but they seem to be doing perfectly fine.

I really don't understand what you are doing. At the start Naruto is pretty smart and does quite well, but suddenly in the past few chapters his IQ dropped by half. He was a complete idiot in the past chapter or two and it is very irritating. I understand that he had to lose at some point, but you made him seem as if he knew nothing about Pokémon. He almost lost to a fucking Zubat when he a had a Mareep. Yeah no.
