I love this story, I've read it twice. I think it's one of the best teenager Neal fictions.

Too bad Peter didn't shot Adler in the nuts first.

I'm reading this story again after recently rewatching Free Willy and I noticed something funny. This scene: "If you help me, I'll do whatever you want." Neal's voice cracked. "Anything, I'll do it. Just help me save Mozzie, please."

Peter looked at Neal breaking apart in front of him, startled at the pleas. He didn't even know what he had been doing, trying to take care of another human being. He looked up at El and they shared a pained understanding at everything Neal's words conveyed.

He carefully lifted up Neal's chin with his finger. "Neal, what is it you think I want from you?" he asked gently.

Neal's eyes were full of pain. His words where full of despair. "I don't know."

is extremely similar to one of the last scenes in the movie where Jesse(who reminds me of young Neal) is begging his temporary father for help. I don't know if it was a coincidence or intentional but I found it pretty funny that they both did it and I think of them as like the same character lol.

I enjoyed this and was glad to find it and have time to read all the way through. There were moments when I could have cried for Neal and I got frustrated with Peter, the story is that engaging. Elizabeth and Mozzie were excellent, I was glad Mozzie was always Neal's friend. The dramatic conclusion with the death of Adler was good. Neal finding a home with the love of Peter and El was wonderful. Thanks for writing and leaving posted for new readers.

I like this,"Neal still had a hard time getting it in his mind that Peter could be married to someone as amazing as Elizabeth". We get it Neal and we agree.

Peter is too quick to give up on a 15 year old who has been living on the streets for years. How did the world lose Neal? Is he going to escape?

Heartwarming and definitely one of the better Teen Neal stories on this site. Enjoyed how you nicely managed to tie in some dialogues from the show. And you brought the story to an end; I hate it when authors leave the readers hanging with unfinished stuff. Great job.
