So, straight off the bat: The way you portray each one of the turtles is exceptional. All of the brothers are completely in character and you've even nailed their speech patterns down to a T. It's mind blowing how you've captured them so well and brought them to life, giving them a little zest of your own. As for Elizabeth... I'm still unsure of how I feel about Elizabeth as a character. She's got a a complex personality and she's certainly got good reason to be guarded, but I can't shake feeling like she gets a little bit melodramatic at times. That being said, I really enjoyed her interactions with all of the brothers (even the angst-ridden ones) and you've done such a wonderful job with this story. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series!

I'm loving this story! Only on chap 4 but it's amazing, I love what your doing with the characters and completely get it. People shouldn't jump to conclusions so early on in a story, honestly. Lol great job please continue this story

Woah! What an amazing story. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I usually find that Turtles x OC romances turn out to be very boring, but your story kept me on tender hooks the whole time. I also found Elizabeth to be a wonderful complex character and I loved seeing her relationship with Raphael grow, as well as her friendship with the other turtles. I understand why you chose to kill her off, but I'm so happy that we have an alternate ending to go on. The only thing is that the final chapter makes it very clear that Elizabeth and Akemi are dead, so perhaps it would work better if the final chapter was a bit more ambiguous? Just a suggestion-it doesn't mean I don't absolutely love the story.

Great Job on writing Raphael's accent. I know that's very difficult to write.

I never cry when i read books. Ever. This made me cry so so so hard, it was amazing, i was honestly expecting some love at first sight cheesy fic, but this was Amazing, God i can't even describe... but now im just sitting here like... What am i supposed to do with my life now? D: this may be stupid but i would give this an 15/10

Where is this alternate ending I keep hearing about? The original is so heart wrenching and powerful that I was sobbing in my rocking chair! All the feelings I had were awful but amazing at the same time! But I must must must see the alternative.

I see you have 199 reviews. That's not nearly enough. So let me offer my two cents. I think you wrote a very well done story, filled with enough action, and hearty dialogue to keep me wanting more. The only thing I would've added is a little more interaction between Raphael and Elizabeth in the first few chapters so their romance would be more believable. Still, what was there was very good. I hope for more good stories from you in the future.

Ok, I absolutely loved this story and as much as I love happy endings, I do have to admit that your original ending did fit the rest of the story better. And I was bawling during the funeral scene and cried even harder (if that's possible) when Raph put the roses on the coffins. Very well written, you wrote the characters perfectly, none of them felt like they were OOC. I love Elizabeth, I thought she was great and I love the relationship between her and Raph. I was also pleased with how you took your time with Elizabeth and Raph getting together which I know is a difficult task when you're anxious to get these two great characters together. It's difficult to find a well written Raph/OC fic and though I did find a few good ones, I'd have to say yours was by far the best. Thanks for sharing this wonderful piece of work. It's the type of story I aspire towards. :)

This fic is seriously addictive.

Oh my gosh! This was such a beautiful story! You really did get the personalities of each turtle just right and I loved it! I even loved the way how you threw in some actual Japanese words! I even cried at the first ending, and when I say I cried, I really cried! This story is huge an eye opener on real-life situations that we never really see portrayed so specifically on those crime t.v shows. Personally, I think you should make your sequel about Elizabeth and Akemi's life after Graham's attack and trial, I really grew to love Elizabeth's character and I wanna start to love Akemi's too! I also want to say props, this is the best story I've found on TMNT so far! Please make the sequel a soon as possible!

Oh, wow.. This was a wonderful story.. You really did a great job with portraying the turtles! I appreciate that.. I liked Elizabeth as well, even though she's not usually the kind of OC I like reading about.
I was pretty close to sobbing at the ending, but I think I cried harder at the alternate one.. I honestly do think the original one fit the story better, but the alternate one was a sweet little look into what could have been..
