I enjoyed how down-to-earth this fanfiction was. I liked the Vulnerability/mortality theme you had going. Seeing someone as invincable as Fullmetal sick and hurting as a rather rare and disconcerning sight.

I liked the bit where Roy was questioning Ed's ability to feel pain.

I thought this was very nice. Cute and fatherly indeed. But I have to ask:

Where is the angst in the story? There really doesn't need to BE any, because it's fine the way it is. But I suggest changing the genre out of Angst and more into General, Family, or Friendship. Because there could be people like me who were searching for full-blown Ed sobs and self-pity, and came up with a fluffy cute story like this :P

But anyway, it was cute! good job :)
