Reviews for The Give Away Girl
katiej1 chapter 32 . 8/31
Fell in love with this story all over again! Have lots of free time social distancing these days and am rereading my favorite fanfics. Thank you
Newt Pottrr chapter 27 . 8/24
Finally.
Newt Pottrr chapter 23 . 8/23
I'm getting a feeling that Edward has faded into the background and seriously I kinda miss him in this story.
Moonlight4me chapter 32 . 8/10
So many memories and don’t forget the angst (!) from the -90 ties. I love all the details from that era. And the music rocks! I really enjoyed reading this story.
leigh1080 chapter 3 . 7/11
I met my husband between freshman and sophomore year in 1995. We met through a friend and went to different high schools, him public and I private. These first few chapters of them talking on the phone and getting to know someone is like deja vu. The phone cord (lol), but we had a cordless, watching movies while on the phone, talking for hours, and having your parents needing to use the phone. This is like a trip down memory lane.
Dreamweaver94 chapter 32 . 6/11
I did a terrible job leaving reviews for each chapter but I enjoyed this story so much. I loved your characterizations and the growth of E& B along the way. Thank you for writing & sharing.
Dreamweaver94 chapter 8 . 5/20
Great chapter. I really love Edward’s family. Halloween is a long way away but I have to wonder if there will even be a Halloween this year. Glad these two finally got off second base.
After hearing what all the boys, including Emmett, said about Bella behind her back, it makes me wonder if Rosalie has always had a crush on Emmett and was rude to Bella because she thought they had a thing. It would explain why she was pissed to see Bella with Edward- like she was cheating on him or something. Anyway, just my speculation, on to the next chapter to see if I’m wrong.
Dreamweaver94 chapter 7 . 5/20
Your Edward really knows how to make a great first impression with Charlie. I like that Esme is such a great mom and offered to teach Bella to cook. I’m surprised she didn’t make them sleep in separate rooms though. This fic makes me smile when there hasn’t been a lot to smile about lately.
Dreamweaver94 chapter 5 . 5/19
Reading fics about High Schoolers always makes me wish I was a little more adventurous back then. I was pretty boring compared to these teens. I had to laugh because I once had Superman sheets. Christopher Reeves was my 1st crush. I really do love your thoughtful sweet Edward. Charlie is really great too.
Dreamweaver94 chapter 3 . 5/19
This story is bringing back so many memories. Clearly Canadian and Electric Youth - love the references.
Dreamweaver94 chapter 1 . 5/18
I need an escape from reality and I’ve fallen back down the rabbit hole of reading fic for the first time in 5 years. I just finished reading Funcle and thought I’d start from the beginning on the rest of your stories. I too have a box of notes from the early 90s in my hope chest. I should go back and read them some time. Thanks for writing and leaving your stories up on ffn.
Guest chapter 11 . 4/15
Saying "he could care less" means he still cares a little. The correct statement is "he couldn't care less."
flecour chapter 32 . 3/11
Great story..I read all night and called out of work to finish it. Flu season is always the greatest excuse.
lilaclune chapter 32 . 1/10
Thank you. It’s been a while since I stumbled upon a good story. It’s worth reading. I felt each pain, ups and downs of the characters. It’s nostalgic.
HollywoodTwore chapter 32 . 11/26/2019
I've read this whole story in just a couple of days and loved it! The highs, the lows and all inbetween. As much as I hated their breakup, I'm glad you wrote it over time, so we could see their development as they grew and how it all happened. It was my first grunge/90s/drug infested fic too, so that was an education.

Thanks for sharing such a fabulous story. I'm off to read the EPoV now.
