So bittersweet and beautiful. It's written very well and the thoughts are captured beautifully. Well done on this amazing story. I loved it.

It doesn't feel finished. It feels more like prologue than a one-shot, perhaps you would care to continue? I have always been fond of this pairing, mostly for the purely esthetic pleasure of imagining the complimentary constrast of their skin, hair and temperament.
