I am enjoying this series a great deal. I hope you will finish it. Very nice take on Ezra's and Chris' relationship and Ezra's living by the cards persona.

AH! This was better than I feared! I was not going to read this because of the 7, JD is not my fave and there has been such an influx of JD fics and the fact that most JD writers tend to make Ezra out to be an asshole, I was going to skip over this. I COULDN'T STAND ANOTHER JD STORY! But now I am glad I did read this! Ezra is awesome and I am glad that JD wasn't in abundance in this story! Thank you for sharing and I look forward to more in this series!

Nice story; I love how Ezra's familiarity with the cards leads to other uses, and how Chris does trust him and why. Turning Vin and Buck loose on the miscreant at the end was a nice touch.

VBG I love itG. I like the notion that Ezra would know pretty much anything that involves cards, including 'reading' themG and that Chris quickly backed him up. Great story. I really enjoyed it.

This is a nice little story. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

Just one thing...do we get to know what Buck and Vin do to the unsavory character occupying the jail cell?
