| Kat Nightfox chapter 1 . 8/15/2011 So happy to see another story in this series. Very lovely to see Arthur allow himself to be so vulnerable with Merlin. That was one serious gesture of trust on his part, well warranted of course. If anyone's worthy of that trust, your Merlin is. Interesting bit of voyeurism by Uther in the beginning as was his speculations about the boys. I'm not sure if you are going for that here but this still has the same somewhat haunting atmosphere of the previous "Obligations" stories. I always come away from them a bit sad & melancholy. They just seem to be leading someplace that may be more than a bit tragic. Beautifully written, as always. Thank you for this! |
