Cuuuuuute! An angry overprotective Ivan mixed with awkward teenagerness? Soooo sweeet! It's almost worth you getting bullied in middle school, except totally not because you're a lovely person and I would never wish that on anyone. I never had to deal with outright bullying, my situation vastly resembled Ivan's. Is that really something that would happen? Wouldn't you just carry around a blade of some sort and threaten them before they broke your glasses? Not actually hurt them, but scare them off or something. I dunno whether you have glasses or not, but in my experience, a glasses-person is utterly useless without their glasses. I can't read something three feet away without them, but Alfred might have a low prescription...? It makes sense with him mistaking ketchup for blood,.and then looking closer...Sorry, I get really caught up on these details. It really doesn't matter, I just wanted to say that you're great :)

Oh dear bulling is never good, they bullied me too. They stole my things, dumped my journal into dumpsters, talked about me loudly when I was present, never got picked, so on and so forth. Middle school kids inmy opinion are all sub humans. But anyway this chapter really actually made me tear up a little. Please don't forger me and give us another post quick! I really can't Stand the wait, I'm way too excited for this story. It's really good.

I'm sorry to hear that, but I'm afraid I know what you mean. Although, I was more ostracized than bullied (I guess I can empathize with Ivan there).

Don't worry Ivan, no one likes Middle School, no one who matters in any case. I'm sure there are some who had a really good time in Middle School but those tend to be the people who's lives revolved around the time when they were in middle/high school.

I love that he ended up throwing a cupcake that the bully, that was awesome. I see that Ivan is also becoming aware of his sexuality. This bodes for more confusing misadventures ahead. At least for a little while. Ivan strikes me as the sort of person who once he's done with trying to fit in, he's done. After that he more or less accepts himself for who he is and sets his sights on a time where he will be accepted for who he is. So I don't really see him struggling with his sexuality much, Alfred on the other hand...it might be a little rougher for him.

This chapter was a good building action chapter. I can't wait to see what you turn out next.

This chapter ended up being really sweet. The seperation of Ivan and Alfred, Ivan's 'odd' dreams, his desire to protect his Fredka no matter what the consequence. So sweet!

I think I love this little series you've got going here. I can't wait to see some more firsts and moments with our boys!
