So I know it’s been almost a decade since you last updated and that you probably won’t at this point, but I still love coming back to this. I know it doesn’t fit perfectly in canon, but it’s such a fun idea to think Tim (NCIS) has this whole big backstory and skill that no one knows about! Also I always love the Batbros interacting with other people

I always thought of Tim as the most boring of the Robins, a bit dull and character-less compared to the others. But this series...there are no words. This is so flipping amazing.

After reading this for the... well, I've lost track of how many times I've read this over the years, but regardless I felt I was long overdue to leave a review.

This collection was my introduction (and, before I started digging back in DC Comics last year, my main exposure) to Tim Drake, and despite only having been familiar with Tim McGee for quite some time, this has always been one of my favorite NCIS fics. Maybe it's because the "two identities, same character" trope is my all-time favorite concept in fic, but even beyond that, it's a brilliantly crafted story. The scenarios Tim finds himself in that blur the lines between his two lives are all entertaining in their own unique ways, and often leave me wanting to see what happens next.

My favorite part, though, has to be Tim's voice. I've always loved the dry humor, as well as the emotional depth and longing that shine through. Even when I was only familiar with McGee, the narration was believably in-character, but now that I've had some exposure to (pre-reboot) Tim I can see exactly how well this piece captures his voice and personality.

I imagine I'll be coming back to reread this many more times than I already have, and that it will still be just as enjoyable each time around. I'm not sure if the final two chapters are still on the horizon or if this will remain complete as-is, but either way, thank you for crafting and sharing this story.

I have reread this story more times than i can count, and every single time, it amazes me. I really do want to readthe ending, although considering how long ago it was updated, i can only hope

Oh Timmy no, my heart breaks for him I can understand why he ran that's too much bad too soon with little to no good in between, is Damian gonna be in this does Dick replacing him have anything to do with Tim thinking he's like idk is an inconvineance.

Dick needs to find out just how Tim came to own Jethro/Butch.
Bat-fam needs to meet Sarah.
Gibbs and Bruce fighting over custody, like just say what you really think Gibbs you all but called him a deadbeat

But what would happen they did see him without his shirt...murder or ya know attempted murder but it's the thought that counts. Please tell me there was more evidence than we are bad guys note. Can you imagine the poor cop that finds them? Like okay kind vigilante sir we need more than circumstantial evidence and your note to actually arrest them

He is a bat-boy through and through. Lemme just jump off a ledge or dislocate my finger or ride a motorcycle at crazy speeds without a helmet yup. STEPH! you mentioned her and broke my heart. She has a special place in my heart and I love her. And after all these years Tim still loves her. I'm not crying you're crying.

This is a story I did not know I needed. Omg I love it as soon as I saw the summary I had to favorite it and it did not disappoint I love it

First off I wanna say that I love this. So much. Secondly I'm kinda sad now Bc its been 6 years since its been updated. And as previously stated I love this and wish there was more. Phenominal writing. I wish there were more stories like this out there. Seriously though, I am so happy I found this it made my day

Are you continuing? Please, please, please continue! I wanna see a scene where the guys see Tim fighting, like actually fighting, not in the dark like that one scene with Jason (which was still awesome), and another one where they find out it was Batman that was his mentor maybe (if they haven't already)? Anyway, loved this, hope you continue and update soon, and keep writing in general.
