again. this is truly the most well written fic regarding Sai i've came across so far. but one thing that bothered me was.. Sai called kakashi "Senpaias Yamato does) not "sensei" ... coz they were both from ANBU.

So.. i just found this in 2018.

this. is. EVERTHING I COULD EVER BE SATISFIED WITH. well except... it's only in 1 chapter.. GAH.. i wanted MORE OF THIS. everything was well written. the character. the plot settings and the well timed and delivered humor.

especially the character. all of them were on point which made this to be a believeable AU. Poor Sai. He genuinely put in all efforts to be on better terms with snobby-Sasuke. well... one needs learns to never use 'older brother' topics anywhere near Sasuke.

Sai going to Yamato for 'fellow traumatized victim advice' was really great. lol. as always, Kakashi 'giving love' to his kouhais.. was hillarious. he loves em so much... but it was all sufferings on their ends; driving em to the edge of their sanity!.

the ending was certainly the sweetest part.

I read this on AO3 and it was fucking amazing. This deserves so much love. I'm not joking when I say this is in the top 5 of my favorite Naruto fics.

Hatake got attached to his newest adorable student/kouhai a bit too much if his sadist methods are any indication. I find it endearing though. At least Sai improved leaps and bounds from the torture that his senpai kept on ambushing him in. The hilarious misunderstanding Sai made out of sheer obliviousness is priceless because Naruto jumps to conclusions as usual. The artist nin is all grown up. So he was being groomed to be the ANBU head operative. Cool, great for you Sai! That means all the shit you have to put up with Kakashi-sensei is not useless.

XD Yes! Originally I found this on Ao3, and was frustrated 'cause it was an awesome one-shot and I couldn't fave it (I don't have an account there). But now I've discovered its also here! So yay! XD

Hilarious, and well-written, and I don't understand why there aren't more reviews, 'cause this should totally have more. Everyone is so in-character, (even Kakashi when he drags back the body bag and smiles all the way to the makeshift 'morgue') and its just... Words defy me in describing the sheer amount of awesome. I especially love the reason for Yamato's face. If I was ambushed by a trap set to behead me with wires I would have that expression on my face too. (And of course Sai doesn't because he's, well, Sai.) And of course the book is called 'opening up the other', and has erotic picture on the cover, and everyone gets the wrong ideas when Sai tries to implement the 'advice' from the book. (Let me guess, Kakashi picked that one out for him. :3)
