I read all the eight chapters and I can say that I like how suppressed Izaya's feelings and showing how he felt about dying instead of going to Shinra's. The story was filled with all kinds of emotions and I love it! Also update soon for us

Wow, just wow. I just read all 8 chapters and I wish there were 100 more, I couldn't stop reading, I was so into the story. Your writing skills are amazing, the way you describe Izaya's pain, his memories, and in the last chapter, how Shizuo should let him die and how he feels like he failed. The way you describe it all makes me understand exactly how each of them feel and that's very rare in a fic. The only aspect I found a bit weird was that the government would ask Shizuo to be a counsellor, I have a broad idea of what you were thinking of when you came up with it but maybe you could've explained a bit more, anyway I got over that pretty quickly once I got into the story. A lot of people try the "abused izaya" thing but I've never seen someone do it as well as update soon, I'm really looking forward to it.

I am deeply in love with this story. I have no idea how I haven't run in to this since it was published almost three years ago, but I am so glad you are still working with it.
This is one of the few stories that excite me since there is a plot and a careful build up. I like the way you spin Izaya's story and how the bits of OOCness works with his issues. I'm usually never a fan of how people suddenly make Izaya a weak vulnerable character but you pull it back just enough that to me it's more like he's progressing past the point of dramatics and being more of a "it is what it is" so I'll fuck the world back attitude. Keeps him dangerous in a tragic way. I can't wait for the next chapter! You're a great writer; you really draw in the reader.

i feel bad for izzy but he didnt have to slice all of those people up
but if it was self defence i would understand his reasonings for hurting the people
but shizuo is right he could have ran lol
