It's so rare to get an update from a quality Kingdom Hearts story that your most recent chapter has been a breath of fresh air. You did a good job of progressing you story without destroying the characters that the canon has created and developed. I hope that you update soon; you have a lot of questions to answer!

The possibility of a friendship between Sora, Roxas/Ventus and Vanitas. Should it be done, it is either going to go horribly wrong or be incredibly epic.

You're alive! And apparently incorporating KH 3D.
I reread and noticed a problem in the last chapter. "Riku, Kairi, Donald and Goofy also looked gobsmacked in their own ways." The problem is Kairi, she never saw Roxas or Ventus.
Very complex, very confusing. Hard to follow, but considering how quickly things were moving it creates a great effect.
I hope that you aren't going to use the RoxasxNamine and RikuxXion pairings, they just never clicked for me. I always preferred Roxas with Xion. But, your story, your call.
Riku seems to have confused Vanitas for a Heartless, fair mistake. The concept really is quite similar and he has no way of knowing the difference.
And Lea is back! And seems to remember Xion? Just saying it based off of him referencing his "I'll always be there to bring you back!"

Very nice. What you are doing with the story is pretty cool. Although I am writing my own KH3, and don't want to copy anyone even if its by accident, so maybe I shouldn't read this until I'm done. Whatever, I'll be careful not to be a rip off.

However I have an idea that might be cool to use for Roxas/Ven. Seeing as you've made them into the same person, why not combine their unique styles. Dual weilding with the keyblades in a reverse grip at times. Do this if you like the idea.

The concept has been done before, but I like the Ansem-Xemnas reuniting twist. Great writing throughout a very solid chapter. Keep up the good work and update regularly!
