Ah, so it was the inexperience of youth. That makes much more sense. Good.

I think it could be easily fixed if you took out the part about the contaminated needle and say she got a viral infection. The infection could have been caused by a number of things, and since it was from the spinal fluid donation, it would still be the hospitals fault.

There are viruses that cause cancer, but the cancer itself is not a virus. Also, a virus caused cancer wouldn't make much sense if you're implying the cancer is somewhat genetic (with that comment about her father).

Though really the cancer part is completely unnecessary as viral infections in the spine are pretty darn scary in their own. It doesn't need the added drama of 'cancer' which makes it sound very contrived.

That being said, I did greatly enjoy this story. :) I like how you portray the twins, and how the main character doesn't immediately jump into a relationship with them. I was luke-warm about her being a twin in the beginning, but I think you did it well. :)

Both Saya and Rei were well made and didn't overshadow the other cast.

Thank you for writing this.

Wut.

You cannot get cancer from a contaminated needle. Like. That's not possible. That's not how cancer works.

Secondly, a hospital would never ever reuse a needle. They don't even sanitize and reuse them, they throw them right out and get a brand new sealed in packaging one.

Dag nabbit, and I was enjoying this story. I'm just gonna pretend you're saying severe infection instead of cancer...

Guest chapter 22 . 8/2/2017
Aw and you made me cry several times too...
It's relatable (to me), so I like it. Plus, the OC isn't a Mary Sue which I am greatly relieved about. She has her flaws and her pros and cons and had even managed to make one of the members of the host club to genuinely hate her too! Wow, never seen this before in any of the other OHSHC fics.

I won't pressure you to update or anything (I know you have better things to do than writing fics so go at your own pace) but it'll still be nice to have a new chappie for us to read.

I found a few mistakes in some of the chapters so I think you should re-read your fics before adding it in. Either way, lovin' it, and hope for some more! X)
Guest chapter 14 . 8/2/2017
Right. Thanks for making me cry. Well damn me. I sure am a wimpy weepy kiddo who has nothing better to do than reading fics all day long. It's going good though.

owlzilla chapter 22 . 1/16/2017
Just found this story - I have enjoyed reading it (I like the twins with anybody really) though some parts were a bit confusing (contagious cancer?). Just an aside - I kind of wish I knew what songs she was singing during host club. If you continue this it might help set the mood a bit more in my mind as I tend to listen to music while I read and love when music is incorporated into stories in a way I can listen along to.

I'm curious, what exactly was the twins deal with Rei? I know that Kaoru said that he was mad she could tell them apart but it felt kind of sudden. She had been doing that from almost the beginning and they seemed to be warming up to her and then all of the sudden they didn't just ice her out they were outright cruel and malicious. I think I could understand if it was a reaction of trying to force distance between someone who could be a legitimate threat to the twins relationship (if one or both of them was starting to develop real feelings for her) but that's not really what Kaoru says. She is pretty nice about forgiving them...I would not so easily forget how quickly they turned.

Anyway, I hope you decide to continue writing this and I'm going to subscribe just in case!
