You know, I just wanted to let you know that I've had to re-read "The Baffled King and the Idiot Hero" recently, and it's suddenly resonating with me a lot. Partially because of new circumstances (You know, LDR and the like) but you really wrote something real and relatable there. I know its awfully off-topic to say something about a different story, here, but I've already reviewed Baffled King and I can't do it again.

TL;DR - Baffled King was fabulous and real and growing on me more and more by the day.

Aw, so, so sweet. The effect Al has on Arthur is just adorable. It's also adorable that Al went on a two-hour trek just to call him. My not-so-inner fangirl is wriggling in glee right now. It's depressing that the backdrop is the Gulf War, but... That's what Al does best, unfortunately. It's still very cute, I loved it.
