Well this certainly deserves more reviews. Very good piece of writing in its simplicity. I loved it :)

Poor river, but also... Somehow you gave her a lot more time lord credit than I would have imagined. This makes a lot of sense about why river is the one the doctor falls for.

*SIGH. You really know how to rope a girl in with your awesome writing, don't you?

The best part of this fic, for me, was the Doctor's realization that he has even screwed up River Song. By meeting her in the wrong order, she's always trying to prove herself to him, trying to make her love him...AHH, so awful! But at the same time, it's like with Amy...once somebody is a part of the Doctor's life they don't just let him go...BECAUSE HE'S AWESOME. But, it is kind of one of those things where it's like "You would be better without me, but I can't bear to let you go..."

Such a great story.

I can't tell you what my favorite line here *is*, I really can't but it may be the one with the bunk bed. It is so amazingly hilarious, but it doesn't detract from the tragic harmony of this piece!
