Reviews for Number 821
ccoelhob chapter 1 . 6/5/2019
I read this the first time about six months ago. Today I re-read it and have to say this was outstanding work! I only started reading these stories about 8 months ago and find reading them a second time is helpful. You do excellent work. I couldn't bring myself to stop reading this, so every spare minute was with this. Thank you for your hard work. I truly hope you will continue. I am a Lois and Clark fanatic!

I hope you're not tired of all the positive reviews I'm posting but this was another Triumph.

A really delightful tale. Well done. I followed a link from the Lois and Clark fanfic message board.
puffytiger chapter 5 . 7/25/2018
The first reading, I was confused. Enthralled, but still confused. And then whammied and speechless at the end. I waited a month to let it settle in my brain, thinking it couldn't really be that good. Then I read it again. And it was even better the second time, because I wasn't confused for of the story. And I was even more enthralled, captivated by the build, the pain, their individual quests tempered by lonely despair. And then they meet, and the scene at the dock, and at her old apartment, and at the fortress...oh my the *build*! Sigh. This story is perfection. I hate it that you stopped writing. All of these stories are amazing. Thank you sooo much for sharing them with us. I hope you still get emails wherever you are so you can know that there are still people that appreciate you and love your work. As a friend of mine says "battle on" wherever you are.

3rd time reading. Still. So. Good.

You never disappoint

Okay I'm absolutely convinced now. You're definitely a best selling author in disguise. The stories you write are easily the among the most original, well written and overall hearwarming I've ever read. Not just fanfictions, but stories period. Never have I cared so deeply for fictional characters as I've found myself doing in this story. I felt sorry for Lois and Clark, felt their angst and cheered their reunion and it takes an incredible gift to weave such illusions with mere words. Kudos to you ma'am!
Guest chapter 1 . 7/7/2013
I've to give you major kudos for your premise. It's something that I could see happening in the comics. In fact, you should send your idea to DC. I think your story would make a helluva Elseworlds comic!
Guest chapter 5 . 7/5/2013
My god! That was quite possibly the most beautifull Superman story I've ever read. I feel like I did after finishing All Star Superman. Just perfect!
mbelle5179 chapter 5 . 3/28/2013
Sigh. I could read this story over and over again. And I do! :) I hope you write another Clark/ Superman and Lois story because I love what you do with these characters.
Nautica7mk chapter 5 . 8/16/2012
Okay, admittedly, after my first read through, I was flabbergasted. I didn't leave comments the way any good fanfic reader should as each chapter passes. But it was completed, and I was engrossed. I had to keep my focus because I didn't want to lose anything. lol

Then I thought, this story deserves far more reviews so I went back for a second read through and just sent in my thoughts, however brief they are, after each chapter was read.

Finally, by the end of the story, the magic of reading it the first time did not diminish on the second. You have a wonderful way with words - coupled with the descriptions, the dialogue, the characterizations - the overall quality of this story still amazes me. How did I ever miss out on this story, I don't know, but I'm so glad I found it.

Every once in a while, I'll come across a story that really resonates. Like everything about it is perfect. But very rarely do I come across an author that could deliver with every new story shown. I've read Physics first, and I'm still wrapping my head around how wonderful that, and then Number 821. I'm simply floored. There's a different level of brilliance the way you've weaved the different canons together. Lois and Clark are in top form. They're the same, yet very distinctively different and original to the environment you set them on. It's like a crossover but not a direct crossover. And then there's the dialogue between Lois and Clark, and the JLA... it's just... I think a third read through is in order. For only five chapters, you've put together plot worthy to be professionally published. Man, I would love this in paperback form.
Nautica7mk chapter 4 . 8/16/2012
I'm so glad I found this story completed. I'm breezing on through.
Nautica7mk chapter 3 . 8/16/2012
The world (or is it worlds) you weave are utterly amazing. Lois and Clark, along with the rest of the crew, and the entirely new characters (even the supporting ones) are amazing.
Nautica7mk chapter 2 . 8/16/2012
Holy Moly! That is all.
Nautica7mk chapter 1 . 8/16/2012
This is hella fascinating. In the beginning, you're not entirely sure what this story is about (or what the title even means) but you have a feeling that something profound is about to happen. And then bam, the beginnings of the mystery unravels with Lois's surprise presence. I'm more than happy to say, you've hooked me.
