This was very good. I think you capture the feeling of Avatar. Pandora is a truly beautiful place. Especially because of the Na'Vi and what they stand for. You use a lot of detail, which helped you greatly with the story. Well done.

Dreaming, of course, is one of the major themes of the movie, and we see here the tail-end of what we saw there: Jake's movement relative to the idea of dreaming. He's gone from a crippled vet on a run-down world with no dreams at all...to someone reluctantly fulfilling his brother's dream...to someone who, after a while, is having trouble telling the difference between the life he "dreamwalks" and his so-called "real" life, when the former is so much more authentic (in several senses) than the latter.

Here, he's not a Dreamwalker anymore. The Avatar is not just a projection or embodiment of him, or just a means to his dream; it's really *him*, and he's *it*, all one thing...whole (again, in several senses). Now he's a walker, pure and simple...dreaming; waking. The last time he could say that, he was still in the Marines. He's come full circle. This story conveys that, as well as the satisfactions, large and small, that he can now open himself to fully because they aren't going to go away next time he opens his eyes.

What a great little fluff one-shot!I really enjoyed this,especially the end our modern society it's so hard to grasp the real meaning of love with all the fake lust the media's shoving down our is a reminder of what true love really is,even if it comes from written,the message couldn't be more clear and for sharing this with us!:)

Wow. Beautiful, moving, entrancing. The effect of putting those iconic lines from the movie in the midst of this fic was.. beyond words.
