I've read this before, and I'll definitely read it again! This story is just so lovely - if only the real episode was like this!

I hate you two, WelshWith1011 and Silverspoon. YOU TWO ALWAYS MAKE ME WANT TO CRY WHENEVER I READ YOUR STORIES AND THOUGH I CAN'T HELP BUT READ ON YOU GUYS KEEP ON BRINGING ME TO THE BRINK OF TEARS TILL I'M LIKE "NOPE DAMN IT I'M NOT CRYING I'M NOT CRYING..."

But yeah. This one-shot was absolutely magnificent. Other than some typos, it was perfect.

You guys managed to portray their characters with flying colours. I liked how you two wrote Bobby in his father figure glory. It was so cute that I couldn't help but smile. I found myself agreeing on how Dean was showed in the story, how in front of his personal demons he's just absolutely defeated and how he feels utterly hopeless. I adore Dean, but that's something we can't deny.

And god, that part where they were in heaven. I had to summon all of my strength not to cry. I was at the brink of tears, literally. Especially this part: 'Pressing his cheek to hers, Dean brushed his thumb over her skin, hesitating only for a moment before he spoke, "It would have been you, Jo..." His admission prompted a gentle sob from Jo, and she forced a smile as she tried to overcome this new heartbreak. "We'd have driven each other crazy," she replied, finger grasping at his shirt as she lifted her eyes to his, "but, I guess we'll never know."' Oh god. My heart broke at that. And all the Dean/Jo moments after that was so... pure. I can't describe it in any other way. I just loved it.

I'm hoping for more Dean/Jo fics from your guys, since I simply adore your stories! :D

I really loved this story! You stayed in character, especially with Bobby, and the whole thing was very well written! I especially enjoyed the part with Isis and Osiris. Very tasteful! I look forward to reading this again!

This story was amazing! I'm usually not a huge fan of one-shots just simply because I always find myself wondering 'well, what happens now?' and this story left me that way to an extent, but it was more than satisfying enough to see Jo and Dean together in a way that was believable, in a way that was them. For that I applaud you both.

I still haven't been able to bring myself to watch 7.04 simply for the fact I don't think I could handle watching them be separated again without wanting to throw something at my TV and break it. So, I'm glad I was able to stumble upon this story to satisfy the Jo/Dean shipper within me and to fill the gap for 7.04 for me in a more positive way.

I'd like to thank you wholeheartedly for this fic. That episode, I'm sad to say, killed the Dean/Jo ship for me to the point where I stopped reading fics with their pairing altogether. You just revived it for me. Maybe now I can at last finish my multi-chapter effort! Wonderful, wonderful story.

Thank you so much for writing this! I wish the episode woudl have been just like this fic. I've been looking for a good "Defending your life" fic and this is definitely the best I've come across so far. I just wish that they could actually bring Jo back, I mean come on the chemestry is undeniable, and those looks? Little sister my ass! There is a reason why he feels specially guilty about her of all people. I can also teel you put a lot of thought in the way you wrote this and that there's definitely some research done here,so kuddos for that.

My point with this whole review is: YOU HAVE TO ADD MORE CHAPTERS!Pretty Please? With naked Dean Winchester on top? I'm begging you here!

I really enjoyed reading this :3 the episode was so sad and i was heartbroken that Jo wasn't really brought back.

You could really see the looks they were giving each other. They really cared about each other, whether romantically or not, but still. Feeling was there and ugh i wish they could have done something.

Awwww, Jo ended up being able to stay with Dean. That was nice of Osiris. I like this ending better than the actual episode. lol I would love to see Jo come back, especially if she was around as much as Cas was. :D Dean and Jo make a good couple. She always had the ability to put him in his place, she held her own against him without any trouble. She would make a good sister to Sam too. Alas, the Winchesters are not lucky in love in the show, which is why we have to resort to fanfic to have them be really happy. lol

this made me cry. I loved it so much, especially when Jo actually came alive again. I liked the reference to Osiris bringing back the heroes that had died before their time :P
