Third time I've read this through - I live in hope that you'll start writing again! Your characterisation is superb, and your writing draws your reader in like few stories I've read manage to. The slow-build is so well done, it makes an unlikely pairing so very real and believable...this is hands-down my favourite SGU fic, and easily in my top five all fandoms favourites list. I know RL can get in the way of writing (I've got some unfinished fics myself I'd love to get back to!) but if you do find time to write I hope this fic is high on your to-do list for continuation...? Even if it's never finished I dare say I'll be back to read it again sooner or later, but it really deserves to get where it's going with such complex and well-written characters :-D thanks for the fantastic read!

So, hot god. I've just chain read all 36 chapters of this in about 24 hours. I actually took a day off work to do it, I can't remember the last time I did that for even, you know, a legit published book :P

I don't even know what to say to you, man. But this is perfect. I haven't read much fanfic in quite a few years, but I've just been watching SGU for the first time (super late to the party I know), and I guess I've gotten kind of obsessed with Rush and Young. So much anger and violence in their relationship early on, so much passion, that it's kind of hard not to wonder what would happen if some wires somehow got crossed. And this is exactly what I was looking for. I can't see a relationship of the intimate sort starting between them in any other way that this-totally, fantastically weird and dysfunctional and based on shared unhappiness. I know it's been like half a year since this chapter was posted, but what can I say other than I hope you're still working on it. Because in the mean time I don't think I'm going to find a better fic about these two, unless you've written others.

By the way. I also can't remember the last time I read anything with so many scenes that manage to be so ridiculously hot without ever going beyond kissing. Goddamn. You have sexual tension down pat.

I love this story and I hope that you continue.
