Buhahaha! Hilarious! For once Anakin and Palpatine had a good idea to sell tickets to this event. I'm with Satine though in the complain about the lack of shirtlessness. I loved Anakin's "Will they revoke your rank now?" and "I'm too young for you to die in my arms" and the death glares from Obi-Wan in response to that. And the hostile omnipotent flanneled presence! Oh boy, I'm still giggling even thinking about it :D

It's refreshing and it's so true to Star Wars universe!

Have you had the good fortune of reading Luceno's "Darth Plagueis" yet? It turns out Maul may suffer from a fatal trope of a different(?) kind. Possibly involving twins...an evil twin.

Really, fanfiction writers couldn't have written it any better. It looks like Obi-Wan's dark visions of 'an omnipotent and possibly hostile presence…wrapped in shadows and a strange, plaid flannel garment' has come to pass. It's a good thing most of us galactic sentients are like Padme and Satine. We'll show up to the bloody sporting event even if the Jedi aren't shirtless. _~ Now to repeat: the future is always in motion, the future is always in motion...
