I have read this story several times. I love Rossi Reid stories. Especially the father son stories. This to me, was one of those. Thanks

I love the last part of the story. Reid, the son Rossi never got to raise and Rossi, the father Reid never had the chance to have. That's how I still think of them. Lovely story.

Thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful add-on to the episode. Loved how you nailed both Rossi and Reid's characters. I seriously was hearing their voices while reading your words. Using Diana as a reason why Reid and Prentiss pulled Chase and saved him and that bit of insight of his totally works- as well as having that for the outcome of Rossi's decision. I really enjoyed reading the bonding moment between those two. And it makes me wish that James had gotten a chance to live.

I kinda feel bad for pointing this out, but I believe there's a " missing in the first half of the second paragraph in the cemetery scene. But this was wonderfully written and I really wish this was filmed too!

This was such a wonderful story. I loved the conversation Reid and Rossi had at the grave site and what Reid had told Rossi about why he went into the lake. Reid has grown us so much.

I love your writing and this was just as fabulous as your other stories. I've always felt you characterize Reid so incredibly well, and now you nailed Rossi just as well. Great job!

A wonderful companion to the episode. I've been wondering the same thing myself: if James' death wasn't the catalyst to Rossi and Carolyn's divorce. Marriages have been torn apart over less.

It was nice to see Reid imparting wisdom and Rossi realizing how he could learn from the younger man.
