Guest chapter 3 . 5/21/2019
EEEEEEEEE I love this fic so much! Poor Selim, he's really lost here, huh? Your OCs are great - the motivations and actions make sense and fit the setting, and all around it's just really good! 3
GoogleGirl chapter 27 . 2/19/2019
Darn it, I'm bawling like a baby ;-;
Lady Rini chapter 32 . 10/31/2017
I have to say I really enjoyed this story you kept Selim believable, if he wore to ever recover his memories of his past life. If Hiromu Arakawa ever decides to come back and writes about Selim and him growing up, I hope its something like this.
Guest chapter 32 . 7/26/2017
That ending: priceless
musicformiles chapter 1 . 5/1/2017
I just found something that I feel like you need to see. If you go to caprette on Tumblr, the first post you'll see under the fma tag is the one. You'll know it when you see it. I've re-read this story, like, 3 times by the way. It will forever be one of my all time favorite fanfictions.
Irrlichtwinter chapter 32 . 4/26/2017
This story is really great. Probably the best FMA story if read so far. You managed to write all the characters, canon and original, interesting and fun to read. Especially Selim and his struggel with his past and personality are incredibly well handled. I love that you had him mending both parts of who he is and not just surpressing his homunculus past completely. I think it makes him much more complex and interesting.
Thank you so much for this story. It cheered me up to be able to read such good characterisation and a story this complex.
Raccoon Launcher chapter 32 . 3/18/2017
This was a great story. I enjoyed every word of it, and I especially admire how you managed to write such an amazing fic with 90% OCs (counting Selim because his new personality was all you, and Pride's only characterization was proud and malevolent in FMAB). If you wrote a book, I would read that. I think your ability to make such a great narrative without leaning on existing characters means you would be a great author of original fiction, too. Thank you for this story.

This story warms my heart.

I am glad that Selim/Pride learned a lot during this adventure and grew from them.
Benjamin Goldberg chapter 32 . 12/30/2016
Excellent story :)

One minor change you might want to consider: Near the end of chapter 26, I was wondering whether Selim was going to eat Mandy, which would obviously have kept her from dying, though in a sort of horrible manner. If you'd implied that possibility more strongly, it would have made for a better cliffhanger. It also would have made the beginning of the next chapter more of a relief when we see that he was forcing open her gate instead.
Numbkid chapter 32 . 9/28/2016
This was wonderful. I've always liked Pride & wondered what would happen if he knew the truth.

Thanks for writing this!
ForgottenAlias chapter 31 . 6/14/2016
Such a wonderful ending to a great story! I loved every second of it and can't wait to see what else you have written. Thank you so much for sharing!
musicformiles chapter 32 . 6/1/2016
Wow, this was really amazing! Are you planning on a sequel? I hope so!
TrisakAminawn chapter 32 . 2/7/2016
Hah! Well, all's well that ends well, then. I guess he wouldn't be himself if he wasn't kind of creepy. And I got my joke! Thanks.
Avatar Rikki chapter 32 . 1/31/2016
I should have been working on some homework due next week but I couldn't stop reading this story. It's so good. I always wondered what happened to Selim after the Promised Day and I like how you portrayed him here. I especially like how he and Mandy interact, especially during the Epilogue. I really liked this story!
