Man I would've almost punched the lady too, Richards about to come back to life at least a little and she ruins it! :( Stupid lady. Any-who can't wait for the next chapter and to see how Bruce and Richard are going to get along. XD

Hey, please don't take this the wrong way because present tense is really hard to pull off, but I don't think its the best tense for you to work with. There are a number of places where the flow of the story becomes clunky and awkward. Because present tense doesn't have a lot of flexibility, you haven't been able to say everything you want to say elegantly, so you've resorted to more awkward ways of phrasing things. I think if you switched to third person, the extra flexibility of that tense would allow you to smooth out those bumps more easily.
You've actually slip into past tense a lot at the start of the piece, making it even clunkier, and switching to past tense would probably keep you from mixing up your tenses.
