   PrincessSerenity96 chapter 1 . 8/17 I tried. I really did try to read this. I read up to chapter 8 and I had to stop. I really enjoyed the plot and the chemistry between the two of them. Their constant witty banter back-and-forth was very enjoyable and entertaining. I even overlooked the fact that Charlie would have NOT been pleased, in fact he probably would have gotten his shotgun lol! However the use of “slut”, “whore” and“bitch” was the dealbreaker for me. The moment he said something like that I cringed and I skipped the sex scene. It took the romance and intimacy away from it. Carlisle is kind and compassionate. Not to mention he comes from a different time. He’d never treat and call the women he loves those names, I imagine he’d be dominant but without having to go to phrasing like those. Watch Twilight extended it has more scenes with him in it. Not much but it might help with writing his character. His dominance is subtle. |

| Bell 1 chapter 20 . 3/29 That was an interesting chapter. It seems like there are a lot of games played in this story, which while entertaining, means it isn't really going anywhere. There are some grammar pet peeves, which make the story drag for me. I do love a Carlisle and Bella pairing though. :) |

The kid currently has me on lock down as I fall into a high risk category, even although it hasn't been too terrible here yet Hopefully it stays that way, and things will be back to some form of normality soon. |
