I had read this second chapter hoping for more insight on Alfred, but now that I see that it is going to be yet another "america loves england, england considers america only one in a long line of lovers" i am going to abandon it. Not that this means you are a bad writer, it is just personally upsetting to me. I kinda would like to read more about humans America loved, not more Piers/england stuff.

I absolutely love this story and now I must go do some research on Edward II because I really loved the way you integrated history into your story.

I adore how much thought was put into just a simple little one-shot. Gah, it was just great! xD A two-shot would be nice!
