I love this. The gengar feud and the little girl from before saving the MC caught me by surprise. I wonder if she's like Phoebe from Hoenn and naturally attuned to ghosts or something of the sort. It would make sense. Anyways, beautifully written.

I read this chapter, and it was great and all, but...

I'm still getting consistent flashbacks of Xander and Alistaire, and I don't think I can do this emotionally. Also, now I get horrifying rape scenes involving Gardevoires when I read any word written by you starting with a G. At this point, for some reason I'm seriously considering therapy. Something that I should've at the time considering the circumstances, but this is scarring.

I didn’t actually like this when I first started reading it but good long Pokémon fics that are journey centered are few and far between, so I stuck with it. I’m glad I did. The main reason I didn’t like the fic to much to start with was because I thought the main character was too bratty. Admittedly, I’m not in contact with many 10 yrs olds so for all I know that was an accurate character portrayal, but still... The main character irritated me, but I think you’ve done an amazing job with her character development over these last 10-ish chapters. I think your plot development is also well done. It’s written the way a real book would have it, with little hints here and there as to what’s going to happen next. All and all a really good fic.

Most authors never really explore the darker sides of their fandoms. I'll admit that I'm somewhat new to this particular fandom, but the amount of death and blood and almost-dying and painful reality and coming of age stuff packed in this has made me ignore my homework to keep reading.

And Pascal. Haha, he (and Connor) is/are the reason I'm typing this review right now. I love how old characters just some back at the very last moment.

Simply amazing, I loved Regret and this is a prequel! I really hope you continue writing this story. And could it be that the main character is slightly dark adapted? She has violent thoughts and somewhat dark Pokémon (her vullaby and her maractus bred from a cacturne). Also she really likes dark types and frequently thinks about getting a Tyranitar or Houndoom. I can't wait to see where this story goes!

So far this has been amazing! I love the characters and the plot. I really hope you continue this in the future.

I want to say thank you for writing. I've really enjoyed the story to this point. Unfortunately it looks like you've decided to make a genre change. I enjoyed the dark classic Pokémon adventure, but furry high fantasy is not something I enjoy. Pokémon who speak English like tenured professors, prophesy, a "chosen one", and magic just jump the shark

Even as it is, this is a great story.
