Your story is too sad, it broke my heart as much as the end of "le viconmte de bragelonne" (sorry, I don't know the exact english title). You can say you are as good as Dumas. Moreover, your story is very realistic because Athos had said one day that he couldn't live without his friends (in "vingt ans après").

It was incredibly sad. The thought of Athos being all alone in the world was truly heart-breaking. :(( But I love the image of them and their swords resting together.

*sniff sniff* This was an incredibly sad story... and the part about the swords and the gravestones was heartbreaking. A great story. You have a true talent for words.

This was really sad :( But it was good too. I really liked how Athos asked for his sword to be left with D'Artagnan, Aramis' and Porthos'. It was really touching ;)

(crash, shatter) That was the sound of my heart, breaking into a thousand pieces. I actually cried for a good five minutes after reading this, and then had to read it again.

But what really made me start crying (I've got tears in my eyes even as I write this) was the image of the four swords resting together, and four forgotten headstones.

This was such a great story, but you broke my heart, damn you! That's how good it was.

As I said to you before, I applaud your talent in writing this. It is a very hard thing to do to write about character death but I am glad that you wrote it. It portrays Athos grief perfectly and I am so happy that he did not do something stupid... but he died in battle which would be the way preferred way. At least he is at peace with his friends.

This is a very well written story! I can't wait for more stories by you.
