Guest chapter 1 . 12/13/2014
Came to this story from an article on TV Tropes for it and had spoiled myself for the ending. Still, the first thing I did upon finishing was to get up and read it aloud to my mother. She guessed it about half way through but she still burst into laughter at the guest's name. Very nice done story and in spirit.
chadtayor020 chapter 1 . 1/20/2013
A nice story.
Wordwielder chapter 1 . 1/2/2012
Very cute! I didn't guess that it was Tiny Tim until we got to insane godfather. Good subtle, suggestive hints.
Samantha Spanner chapter 1 . 12/21/2011
Oh, wow, that was great! Holmes's deductions were amazingly spot-on, and I loved that little twist you threw in at the end. ;-)
Garonne chapter 1 . 12/12/2011
Oh, I loved this! Great twist, and lovely ending. And excellent prose as always.
nomdeplume30 chapter 1 . 12/10/2011

mrspencil chapter 1 . 12/10/2011
A very effective meshing of two author's work. I like the future you have envisaged for Tiny Tim, and am impressed with the medical detail used. Very well penned:-)

Marie Nomad chapter 1 . 12/9/2011
This is such a clever and subtle Christmas Carol crossover. I love it. And the ending inspired Holmes to try to enjoy Christmas a little more. Awww...
grossasstoenails chapter 1 . 12/8/2011
Scared the dickens out of me? Couldn't resist, could ya :)

Excellently written! The ending, especially, was quite a marvelous surprize! Great work!
Cyrus Campbell chapter 1 . 12/8/2011
In a word, stunning.

How one can craft a story as such taking two English literature magnates and melding their characters ever so seemlessly is beyond description. The character are well represented, except for Holmes, whose speech could be altered and mood lightened. Though, if it is for the story, then so be it.

I hope this story somehow makes it into a magazine or another one of your stories. You definitely have a career in the short story format.
