| Watertreker568 chapter 13 . 1/24/2012 Well, there's a few madjor problems with many of the comments you made. First off, Jack would never have just given up and assumed that the Doctor would abandon him. He loves the man, even if his feelings aren't reciprocated. Also, Jack had his Vortex Manipulator. There is no way that the Time Agent in him would have just let himself be stuck in a situation like that, let alone trap Martha there. He could have gotten the thing working. Another problem is how you put Jack into relationships. In "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang", Jack tells Ianto that he came back for him. This makes a very strong implication that Ianto's feeling's weren't just ignored. Jack definately felt the same way about Ianto, if not stronger. Finally, Jack has had a child before. In season three, you learn that Jack has a daughter, Named Alice, as well as a grandson, named Steven. So having a child would be in no way a new thing for him. |
