Wow okay I don’t know where to begin but I found this fic about two years ago and I still think about and comeback back to read it. It’s just such a brilliantly well written fic that really delves into the character with such care and professionalism and love it’s addicting. You had single handedly made me love Clare (especially after you defense fic where I first found you). The relationship you built between Clare and even the be other characters like glen ahh it’s chefs kiss. It’s just so well done I don’t know what’s else to say only that I love your writing I do hope you come back to writing again even if it’s for a fandom I don’t know I wouldn’t still read your stories. There’s just such life in it that it’s hard to describe only that the quality of your work is perfection

So I know I'm writing this review six and a half years after this story was finished, but I've just recently fallen down the Eclare rabbit hole again and found this story today. I leave reviews far more rarely than I probably should, but I feel so compelled to tell you that I could hug you for the way you appreciate Clare. THANK YOU. Honestly. She's always been my favorite character, and those left in the fandom these days (and, uh, many fics and the vast majority of comments on YouTube) seem to hate her, or blame her for leaving Eli after he crashed Morty, or think that Eli deserved better than her, etc. etc. etc. And I feel like I'm all alone in the pro-Clare corner, beating the drum that she was a traumatized teenager who left a relationship that had become toxic and was really just trying her best. I adore Eli too, and (god help me) I'll ship Eclare forever, but Clare really is the hero (seasons 11/13/14 be damned). So truly, thank you for writing her in that light. I adored this story.

CHAPTERS 7 AND 8 ARE EVERYTHING, when I think about eclare I think about that scene. This fic almost makes me sad because I know that nobody could ever top it except for JVOR, herself.

I want to thank you for the ups and downs of this piece of work that I read yesterday and finished this morning.
I was literally in tears at least three times and laughing when Adam's humour came into play. ( I kept getting weird looks on my lunch break at work.)
While you ended on the note you did, I do wish there was more. I like that I can make up the rest though too.

Stumbled across this story the other day... couldn't stop reading. One of the most beautiful stories I've read.

What a wonderful story. You wrote it so beautifully. I loved the ending. Usually I hate reaching the end of stories because I don't want them to be over. Even though I dont want this story to end, I love that it brought closure. The title is perfect. It completely fits the theme and I love how its an extended metaphor. Once again, it was perfectly written and I loved it.

Wow. This story, your writing, is completely amazing. I fell in love with the characters on Degrassi and even more because of this story. It's like you know them even better than the writers of Degrassi themselves lol. I love the fact that you've gone further than just writing a fanfic story, there was so much detail and it was pretty darn realistic. Through your writings you've made me laugh and cry, a LOT. You have turned me into a sobbing mess. I wasn't ready for the goodbye scenes, god, I so wasn't ready for that. But even though I'm crying, you have to know that it was absolutely beautiful! Amazingly written and know that you have a crazy talent. I do hope that you realize that.

You know what, I want Adam, Clare and Eli to be like this in every episode of Degrassi. Clare doesn't necessarily have to be druk (though that could be fun) but their interaction in this chapter is simply the best. Also I love how Adam is still looking out for Clare even though he drank the most, he truly is a great friend to her.
And also, I love the little competition that is going on between Fiona and Eli over Clare, completely brilliant!

Aw, this was cute! Though kind of weird to imagine Clare with the look described, but then again I could imagine Eli and Adam's reactions to it. Kind of wish we got this much CeCe and Clare interaction on the show, that would be awesome.
