Lol I was gonna comment that you’re writing was sooo good that Katniss is practically Katniss. Than I kept reading and I’m like wait hold on. Am I reading a fanfic I read before? No it’s literally catching fire! Just parts added. Really good parts but rereading the book is killing me

I don't understand why Katness didn't take the glasses from the guy she killed. She could've given them to peta or Joanna or just had an extra pair.

I didn't know this story, just found it, and let me tell you I've been at the edge of my seat, biting my nails, pushing myself to read faster the entire time! The tension, the cliffhangers, the plot-twists that I never see coming... I came here for Everlark goodness, but stayed because of the action and the plot, it's that good. This fic is really amazing and I'm in awe of your cleverness and creativity and how you keep surprising me.
I'm going to cut this review short now because I need to read the next part, but yeah, kudos to you!

Really really loved this story. The use of the original lines made the story much more approachable, and has me amazed and excited at the differences in perspective between this plot and the original. Definitely going to read the sequel.

Interesting twist with Snow changing things up. Good story.

Thank you it was a little strange at first reading lines from the book, but it did help in understanding the players, especially when you took them down a different path. I loved the new arena being underground. Looking forward to reading the sequel.

This is nothing short of amazing. Really. You write just as well as Suzanne Collins, the story fit together so well it was nearly impossible to tell what parts was hers and what parts are yours. I know you said you weren't going to finish the next story, but I really pray you change your mind!

I've read your mini rant and I wanted to be one of those to tell you that I really have no issues with it, in fact I kinda like them because as you say, it is what makes the story familiar and easy to follow at the same time.

I'm absolutely loving what you've done with your version so far, it's all incredibly exciting and I feel that you've stuck really true to character. :)

Oh my godddd I loooove your arena! How in the world did you think of it? And your scene was so brilliantly executed, it's like being able to read Catching Fire a second time (me hearts youuuu). I would leave a longer review but I'm desperate to find out what happened to Peeta. Desperate.

Oh and honestly, I didn't mind all that retelling for the previous chapters, I loved how you added in more details and built up to how Peeta and Katniss came together for the first time. :)
