I just discovered "Splinters" and then this story, and I've spent the last week reading through them. These are two of the best-written fics I've ever read. And the action is just heating up! Please continue this story, even if it takes another seven years to finish!

I got to the end of the chapter and was all, “noooooooooo! I want to read more! D: “ So that might tell you how much I enjoyed it. XD

I really enjoyed the opportunity you presented for us to see the two couples interacting. They are so different, yet have parallel struggles and so it’s good to see them slowly becoming friends and learning to trust one another. Both Az and Alice need friends, and this adventure has been an unexpected blessing in that way. :)

I appreciated the conversation about Alice’s Father passing away and Az’s frank answers. It gave them both a chance to commiserate. As did the discussion about prophecies and dreams. :)

I am SO glad that they have finally been reunited with Raw, and I’m kind of looking forward to seeing what Mischief the Cheshire Cat is going to get up to. ;) At least we know that he’s on their side...for now. :3

I'm just a watcher, and I never intentionally start reading an incomplete fic. If I do, I drop it so as not to get attached. But you sucked me in, and 4 years later I'm STILL checking in for updates. (I blame the unresolved Duchess/Jack situation and overall terrific and refined writing). All this to say; when you finish this, be it in 3 years or 10, I'll be there, cheering you on

Yaaaaaaaay! I was SUPER excited to see this update! :D I love reading your work. :) And finally, after much political deliberation, the action is about to begin. You could definitely feel that Az was chewing at the bit to get going. (Pun intended.)

Also, a big kudo to her for figuring out how to make a travel storm invisible AND send out an illusion of them going the opposite direction. Nicely done. -golf clap- My favorite moment in the whole chapter was Jeb’s Little smirk of knowing approval. Everyone seems to think of Az as the former witch or a weak little pampered princess that I just can’t wait to see each and every moment of re-evaluation. Good times. :)

Plus your characterizations we’re on point—as a reader I could always tell who was speaking, without any confusion, which is a plus in my book.

Lastly, a big congratulations regarding NANO. I’ve never gotten that far, myself. XD

I can forgive a long hiatus as long as a writer keeps going, and you do a phenomenal job. I also like the fact that you do not have all the royals getting along all chummy like. This is far more realistic.
