Queen of the Faye chapter 1 . 4/20/2016
Ahhhhhhh, they're so cute together :P
teddylupin-snape chapter 1 . 5/9/2014
WHY THE HELL HAS IT TAKEN ME THIS LONG TO ACTUALLY READ THIS? WHY WOULD I PROCRASTINATE ON THIS, IT'S PERFECTION.

My heart literally hurts. If I wasn't quite sure on Chaco before, I'm definitely a shipper after this. Laura, did you know you're perfect?

I really adore all the characterizations. Charlie is just perfect, there's no other way to put it. And I love how much character development we see in Draco. Harry is wonderful, I really loved that so much, and Narcissa being all maternal isn't really something I see a lot of, and it was really true to her character, so that was amazing.

The part with Percy and Audrey and Oliver was absolutely wonderful, because I adore Perciver, but I really love how you made it kinda a toss-up in his head, who he should be with, and him kinda finding comfort in Charlie with Draco.

I don't even know what else I can say. Practically every aspect of this was spot on perfection, I have no words. This is wonderful, really it is. &hearts
wanna delt but ff won't let me chapter 1 . 10/13/2013
I really like your Harry!
Curious Archer chapter 1 . 9/15/2013
This was cute! I love how they all accepted them apart from Ron because it's just so how I imagined how Ron would react. I prefer this to when Ron immediately understands and forgets how much he really dislikes Draco. Anyway! Cute! Perfect! Loved it!
DarkAngelGirl chapter 1 . 6/8/2013
Quite a unique pairing and a brilliant story. I like this very much.
kitkit11183 chapter 1 . 12/1/2012
I've never thought of this pairing before, but I enjoyed reading this story because you stayed true to their characters and somehow got the two to fall in love in a plausible manner.
Shira Lansys chapter 1 . 4/28/2012
Aw, this is so sweet! Everything about their relationship from their meeting to the getting together to the telling everyone was perfect! 3

Great story!
MissingMommy chapter 1 . 4/1/2012
You might just have me swayed, damnit! But you did say you had another one. I'll read that before I officially decide, lol.

It's nice to hear more about Charlie because he's practically invisible in the book. You pretty much have to guess on his personality, and I think you gave him a wonderful one.

And if anyone deserves some redemeption, it's Draco. After everything Draco was pretty much forced to do, seeing him gain respect from the Weasley's was a nice touch. And to see Charlie willing to give him the second chance he should get is nice.

Oh what am I saying, I think they're a wonderful pair. Gah! What is it with you and swaying me on couples? I'm not sure. But to put in simpler terms, ah-maz-ing.
Fire The Canon chapter 1 . 2/5/2012
Okay. I got through it! I'm not much of a fan of slash, but I was SO rooting for this, I think I am now a fan of this pairing. You've convinced me.

Excellent writing. I liked your Charlie. It's hard to say he was in character because we don't know much about him, but I feel that is how he would be if he had more of a role in the books.

I loved your Draco. He WAS in character. And Ron. Yep, Ron wouldn't approve. That's for sure.

I couldn't see any spelling errors or anything and I actually enjoyed it. Especially Charlie's determination to not like tea :)
ProfessorSquirrell chapter 1 . 2/5/2012
This is fantastic! I was skeptical at first, but you did such a great job with it.

This might sound weird but the way they met reminded me of Breakfast at Tiffany's... Draco kind of got himself invited to Charlie's and made himself at home like Holly climbed through Paul's window and somehow into his bed... if you haven't seen that movie then 1. I promise it's a compliment and 2. You need to watch that movie!

Anywho I think the whole meeting the family business was handled very nicely. It was sufficiently awkward without being too weird and everyone was completely in character.

I love Charlie and the way you wrote him was perfect!
ReillyJade chapter 1 . 1/10/2012
Wow. Simply wow.

First of all, congrats for writing such a long one-shot that flowed nicely and kept a steady pace! There wasn't any senseless rambling or fluff in this, and it had a clear beginning, middle, and end. It kept my interest all the way through, and with my short attention span, that's a compliment. Trust me. XD

I was rather impressed that you were able to keep the tense consistent throughout. I've read a lot of fics written in the present tense, but in most of them, the author would occasionally slip-up and have a few scattered sentences randomly written in the past tense. It's an easy mistake to make, but I didn't notice it happening anywhere in your story.

Charlie's characterization was brilliant, absolutely brilliant. He was just so...well, Weasley! I loved the aura of nonchalance surrounding him; even when he found himself worried or concerned about something, he still had a very relaxed attitude about everything. Nothing seemed to phase him in the slightest. I thought it was a refreshing portrayal of Charlie and it suited his somewhat reclusive nature.

The whole dragon thing was a marvelous detail as well. I loved Charlie's speech about dragons when he talked about them being “terribly misunderstood.” That was wonderful foreshadowing of how he would inevitably view Draco, his dragon. This is actually what sold me on the pairing, believe it or not. Charlie chasing dragons...chasing Draco...awesomesauce! It's a perfect parallel and you wrote it wonderfully.

There were a few minor grammatical errors here and there (mostly punctuation,) but that's nearly unavoidable in a story of such great length. Nothing was too serious, though, and none of it took away from the flow of the story. This was a wonderful piece and was a delight to read. You should definitely be proud of it! :)
VivusEtIterum chapter 1 . 1/1/2012
EXCELLENT! I absolutely love the Charlie/Draco pairing-I don't think I've ever seen it done before, and this has me sold on it! I loved every little bit of this-their dialogue, their situation, how they didn't even recognise each other initially. You wrote Narcissa perfectly, I think. She was very accepting, but not unaware of the situation. I think that you portrayed the uncertainty of both men well, and made it unique to their respective family situations. I adored this, absolutely adored it.
homeathogwarts chapter 1 . 12/28/2011
Great job! You told their whole story without any ramblings in the middle. :) I believe you've sold me on a unique couple.
SunnyInOregon chapter 1 . 12/28/2011
Okay this was a pairing I never would have thought of but I really like it. Love how they met and that Draco just assumed he would sleep in the bed. The family meetings were well done. I could see Ron as being the one to object. Though I can't say that George would be too accepting either. Good job. However you left the ending open for a sequel. Sunny
Selenehekate chapter 1 . 12/27/2011
Wow. First thing is first, this is LONG! Congrats on writing such a long piece; you must have spent a lot of time working on this! Such a lengthy piece deserves an epic review... I'll do my best, haha. Secondly, interesting pairing choice you have; Draco and Charlie haven't actually interacted in the series (as far as I know), so its nice to see them together in this piece, even if it really isn't my cup of tea.

Whoo! Where to start? I like that you wrote this in present tense; I've always found present tense to be really difficult, so kudos to you! I like the unique situation that brought Charlie and Draco together, and I enjoy how Charlie didn't initially recognize the young Malfoy. It's even more amusing to me that Draco doesn't recognize Charlie, given how often he mocked the Weasley's appearances.

My favorite bit? '"That's so Gryffindor." Charlie is amazed at how Draco manages to make the word into an obscenity. "It's recording already," Charlie points out.' I couldn't stop laughing, haha!

The bit about Percy dating both Audrey and Percy was a nice touch; it added another dimension to the story by fleshing out the side characters a little more. I also like that Charlie was initially worried about his family reacting poorly to the news that he was dating a HIM, but then his worries were quickly proved false. It was a very valid thing for him to be concerned about.

Charlie's first meeting with Narcissa was perfect: a little awkward, a little sweet... it couldn't have been more well-written, so good job!

The confrontation at the end with Ron was believable and awesome! I love the way that Harry came to Draco's defense and the two of them finally buried the hatchet. All in all, this was a lovely fic and I really adored it! Great job!
