I hate how they always use her as a scapegoat for their incompetence, if they actually involved her in their plans I'm sure things would have turned out right, moreover it was Larry that drew the nemesis.

The world building in this story is better than before. Sadly, Alex had to leave Cambridge Academy and lose her wand.

Still the best work of fan fiction I've ever read. I'm so glad I decided to reread it, even though it cost me a few days in my travels from Greece, Cyprus, and Turkey, since instead of spending all day looking at ruins and going to the beach I spent it at coffee shops trying to catch up.

I'm so happy that you've finally updates the 5th year of AQ. I think when I first read it, I was in basic training, and now this update comes after I ended my contract. What a completely different time of my life, and I suspect yours as well.

All caught up now. And a couple more reviews for this story... I’m hoping it will help other people find these stories, they’re intensely enjoyable and the kind of story that also makes you think and learn.

Alexandra grew up a lot in this story, but her distrust in adults and her general skepticism also increased. Which is rather sad. I really hope it will all work out in the end. And I hope she can mellow down and see all the good things. And also I just really want to know where all of this is going :D
As mentioned before, the plotting is simply brilliant. It’s much more intense than the simple ‘Voldemort will ruin the world and try to kill you’. The complex nature of the politics and clashing cultures and bigotry and and and of this world just make it so enormously interesting. And then the deathly regiment, the different factions.. a thrown in prophecy.. it’s all rather genius.

It took her a while, but that seemed like a very good way to make up with Claudia.
Her staying up all night just underlines how very little faith she has in the adults around her. While I’m actually sure that they have set wards around her house, she doesn’t seem to realise it.
