Reviews for The Divine Champion: Dragonbreak |
---|
![]() ![]() ![]() ... This doesn't feel like Talos. It feels like... A standard dragonborn. It's main differentiating factor (the fact that the MAC is Talos) is basically trashed here. Very unfortunate. |
![]() ![]() ![]() You know, it's sad to see things like this. A promise to push on, and that there WILL be an update, only for that promise to be the last update. Not sad in the sense that the story isnt updated, but in the sense that the author wasnt able to do what they wanted to do, and are no longer able to do what they want. I cant blame you though. It would be pretty hard to write while practically blind. |
![]() ![]() Love the story, hope everything is going well. Sorry to hear about your eyes. After seeing the last review from over a year ago, just wanted you to know people are still reading and enjoying your work. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I am sorry to hear about your condition. I only found your story here yesterday, and have just finished. It hurts my heart thinking about what you went through at the time, and probaly still. I hope life is treating you better now. And I am impressed with the story. I do hope you will return to it in the near future. The idea is interesting, the characters dynamic and the progression great. Constructive crtitcism? Talos is a god. Remember that. Once again, I hope life is treating you well -Silver |
![]() ![]() ![]() I've already lost interest at that last bit. All Skyrim fanfic writers seem to take the initial scene of how Skyrim begins as an absolute, set-in-stone occurence and rarely diverge from it. I have my doubts a man-made-god and literal GOD OF WAR would be so flatly defeated. Embarrassing. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hey! Just wanted to say that "Dragon of the north" is actually said "Dovahsebrom", and that while dov and dovah are more or less interchangeable, they're not the same - dov means dragonkind and dovah means dragon. Other than that, I didn't notice any other mistakes :) It's a nice story, and it looks really interesting so far. Can't wait to see what's next :) |
![]() ![]() This is the best short story inspired by ESO Lore I've read in years. You should've written the Infernal City :). Havent read any other story honestly but will digg in as soon as possible. Thanks. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Interesting story concept! Looking forward to the rest of it! |
![]() ![]() What a masterpiece! I now have to load up Skyrim Special Edition and give it another playthrough...there goes another 200 hours! Thank you for the amazing story! |
![]() ![]() Disappointed. This is going to be boring, it is boring, you grammar is fine, I just have a problem with the weak talos, yes I know, a main character with god powers would be are to make a god story about, but what now? What is the fun of having talos as the main character? I bet it just going to be him being very disappointed with empire, acting like it is there fault talos is banned. No shouts? Gods, and again, what's the fun!? If I can't read about a powerful god, then let me read about a talent early dragon born, sorry, I tried but I'm not going to read more. |
![]() ![]() Bud, just to let you know, the empire didn't want to ban talos, it just because the Great War, they had to. Don't blame the empire for something that is not in their control. |
![]() ![]() Just realized, after posting my previous comment, that the last update here was from 2015. It's 2017 now, and I hope that the lapse has been from the good kind of "life getting in the way" and not the bad. |
![]() ![]() This is an awesome story and I'm so glad that you're choosing to continue. That you're facing such a scary change and choosing to say "fuck you I'm awesome" is very inspiring. I can't finish a story reliably and I have nothing holding me back. So kudos to you, for all the fantastic writing you've achieved so far, which has made me love fan fiction and this genre even more. Kudos as well to your struggle and the inner power you are using to guide yourself through. We need more people like you in the world. You are noticed, and admired! |
![]() ![]() ![]() This chapter made me smile so much. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I probably clicked on this story faster than any other story before. |
