I am in entranced by your writing.
bastardmanjack chapter 1 . 12/7/2016
Yeah, Ginny, put her to shame! In Harry's shirt and an oven mit!
KrystinaSky chapter 1 . 1/29/2014
Beautifully written, great job!
that lionhearted vagabond chapter 1 . 11/3/2012
I think this is my favorite of everything you've written (except maybe the one where Lily is telling the story about getting stuck in the staircase with James's hand down her knickers) purely because of the image of Ginny sassing Petunia wearing nothing but Harry's shirt and and oven mitt.
I first read this yesterday and have since read it like four times and it's still making my day, so thank you,

P.E.E.V.S.Y chapter 1 . 6/1/2012
This was great! I loved your Harry and Ginny and their different reactions to Petunia. I also loved Petunia and her reflections on Lily and their relationship and... I don't know. I just really liked this. It made me sad for some reason. Anyway, great job. :)
words-with-dragons chapter 1 . 5/24/2012
Aww, I liked this, it was really bittersweet, but that's what makes it awesome. Really well written, great job!
Poppy P chapter 1 . 5/6/2012
Painfully sad. Petunia missed out on so much, but it was all her doing. Sure, she wasn't magical, but she could have had her share in the magic if she had just gotten over her jealousy. Well done.
thesecondshelf chapter 1 . 3/9/2012
I love the way you write Ginny. She's one of those characters I feel most people get wrong - probably because the books are from Harry's point of view and he goes from barely noticing her to being completely fixated on her so quickly that we miss a lot of the nuances she potentially has. In this I think she is appropriately pushy, judgmental, brazen and protective of Harry (just as I imagine a girl who grew up with six older brothers, lived with an evil wizard in her head for almost a year, and caused trouble in a school-turned-internment camp would be).

Looking at Harry from Petunia's perspective is equally interesting. As much as I can't stand her for her ignorance and her condonation of the abuse Harry was subjected to at the hands of her husband and her son, she has obviously lost a lot and carries a lot of guilt with her (much of it deserved, but even so).

I love her comment to Ginny as she leaves. Brilliant.

Thank you so much for this piece!

Halcyon Impulsion chapter 1 . 1/2/2012
Lovely bit. Good work.
Tatsumaki-sama chapter 1 . 1/2/2012
This was beautifully bittersweet. I think you captured Petunia quite well and her thoughts on Harry and on Lily.
ammcj062 chapter 1 . 1/2/2012
Oh, this is really bittersweet but... nice. The best way they could have ended, probably.
K145632 chapter 1 . 1/2/2012
This was a really good story, I liked it :) I'd never thought that Petunia might do something like that, so I suppose she could be a little out of character, but I like it. It's a clever idea and you wrote itt well.

Happy Writing!
