To me, this chapter feels like it belongs in a different story. The pacing is faster and the mood is lighter than most of the rest of the story.

Why do you make the chapters 12.12 and stuff, why not just 12?

This is wonderful. And the way they interact seems accurate as to in-characterness. I'm amazed, actually; you managed to wrote in such a way that Kira submitting is, actually is, plausible and doesn't jolt you from the story. That (and besides it) excellent job. I rather enjoy your writing, so far.
