I'm not sure if this story is still going or not (I haven't checked the author's page) but I love this so far. I like how it shows some things from N's point of view. Also, I read Trip's japanese name as Shooting when he was first introduced until the very end of that chapter.

One of these days when you update, I am going to say, "it's been 3000 years." Solid work, it's my fault for having high expectations of what's likely a hobby for you.

I mean, some moves might just be "forgotten" because of how alike they are to other powerfully moves. Such as Thunder wave, thunder shock, thunderbolt, and thunder. They aren't really different moves are they? Just different levels of power. Similar to ember and flamethrower. And razor leaf and leaf storm/leaf tornado/leafage. They are the same basic move, just different power levels and used differently, you know?

I really appreciate your version of Ash in this story. It feels like he actually experienced things in previous regions and learned from them while retaining that sense of wonder, energy and excitement that most stories with a “smart” Ash don’t. I honestly like your portrayal of him better than the anime at this point. (Not to diss it, I recognize that they made some changes and I respect that. But I digress.) Thank you for the story thus far, and I hope that you have a wonderful day.

I am loving this, however I have to wonder how everyone traveling with Ash right now would react to the fact that he has almost died a few dozen times, and all the injuries he has gotten in the past, oh and all the Legendary Pokemon he's seen and helped... and the fact he almost used all his aura and almost died trying to save a tree and mew and the Pokemon...

Oh and how much trouble he and Pikachu had gotten into at the start of his journey and how they saw Ho-oh

This is great! I wonder if Satoshi will rotate in some of his other Pokémon for that battle she wants?

Do you know how most fics had them rewriting the first season and afterward for a better, clever Ash? bare with my rant here, but I always found those fics insulting canon Ash even when it's understandably frustrating to see the MC being weak. I was the same as well because Ash was not at all special.

He didn't prepare for his journey well, he is emotional, and most of his gym battles and pokemon were won and caught by luck. Basically, he turns out to be a normal boy with a strong Pikachu and loves pokemon.

But then I kept watch as he battled through the Orange League, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh, and I watch as he becomes stronger from his own effort, his own mistakes, and his own experience. Suddenly Ash becomes special. And there's a special message, not many anime give that people can grow up to be special even without talent or special power to begin your journey.

Sorry, not much comment on your fic. but I feel like this is a sentiment that you can understand. can't wait for the next chapter.

I think I've reviewed thia before but I like to say how I love, love, love how your Satoshi can still be smart and mature without leaving out his childish character andhis flaws. Because appaently for other fics. being smart means being OP or Gary Sue!

Honestly, typical fans.

what I love, love, love the most about this fic is that you can pull me at the edge of my seat. Just because Satoshi is experience, doesn't automatically makes his pokemons strong, and the way you fusion the will to never give up and the clever tactics to win the match. Another thing most fanfic writers neglect is the spirit to win can be just as powerful as the strength to win, and you show both of that admirably, and that's what I loved most about your fanfic. No other writers can come close in creating a good tension within pokemon battles you have.

This is still my favorite Pokémon fic and am so glad you decided to continue after all these years, take as much time as you need for the next chapter, I really loved this one. Your writing is amazing.

Huh, only saw this fic being updated yesterday, as I had given up hope that it would ever be continued. This is probably my favorite pokemon fic. Keep up the good work man!
